Journal #3

Muybridge had such an influence on the Futurists because his style was a little different. He liked to set up his pictures in a narrative way rather than a chronophotography way. I think he liked that he could tell a story with his photographs and recognize them as individuale photographs that made up a story rather than seeing them as a science experiment.

The other photographers in the Futurists seem to have a great impact by using chronophotography, maybe even more so than Muybridge because he didn't like to use this technique and at the time people were interested in the style of chronophotography.
